The Columbia Community Foundation was pleased to kick off the Southwest General Health Center Community Capital Campaign with a $3,000 donation.

Southwest General has served Columbia residents for over 60 years.  The Center’s expansion project will allow the hospital to continue providing high quality care for area residents.  On January 9th, Foundation members participated in the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new 40,000 square foot emergency room.  This new state-of-the-art facility opened on January 18th and features the latest technology, private patient rooms and specialized treatment areas.  The Columbia Community Foundation is proud to contribute to the revitalization of this important community resource.
